Who couldn’t use the help of a CoBot?

The CoBots are being developed my Professor Manuela Veloso and her team at the CORAL (Cooperate-Observe-Reason-Act-Learn) research group at Carnegie Mellon University. Tasks are easily assigned to them through a special program online and then they are ready to navigate carefully through the workplace delivering items from one office to the next.

The people at Carnegie Mellon seem to be getting a kick out of the CoBot and to be honest, I wouldn’t mind dealing this little helper on a Monday morning. It seems like the CoBot would remain calm and cordial in the most hectic of environments… pretty impressive for something running other people’s errands all day!

Could a robot help you to be more efficient at work?
